The 4-day sea trials (in the Bay of Biscay) were conducted in the period September 27-30, 2023. The Club
Celebrity Ascent is the fourth ship in Celebrity’s Edge Class since Celebrity Edge was launched in 2018. The ship is a mostly-identical copy to its immediate sister ship Celebrity Beyond, which has an extra deck of staterooms. Like all Edge-class ships, the most notable feature is the cantilevered deck called the “Magic Carpet” which can be positioned on Deck 14 as a bar and lounge, on Deck 5 to expand the Raw on 5 sushi and raw bar, or at sea level as a tender dock. Celebrity Ascent ship offers 32 food and beverage serving venues, including 4 main dining rooms/MDRs and 6 new-to-Celebrity Cruises specialty restaurants.

Depending on the ship, this number can range from 30 to 52 (with a bigger number meaning more space per person) so this ship's space-to-person ratio is about average.
